Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work in acting has earned her much acclaim, from dramas of the past to suspenseful films and even adventures. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was the twin of their younger sisters. When she reached seven years old, her passion for acting was growing. She started to audition for commercials. To improve her acting skills, she joined an acting class at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as the Professional Children's School. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance on screen in North (1994), directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was next seen as a character in Just Cause (1996), however she was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The film tells the story of two young girls that have fled to escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson received the attention of a whole new generation. The actress is one of the major cast members. Alongside her part in the show, she was also an actor on stage for a number of years. The actress gave stunning performances including Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her path into the world of entertainment from a young age. She discovered her passion for performing as a child. Thanks to the encouragement of her parents Smith landed her first acting job when she was just six. In a television commercial, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. Like other young actors, she started her career in theatre. As she worked on other productions in the USA she also made her debut on stage in Wildflower. She studied in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
